Pakistan is a developing country with a population of more than 220 million, making it the fifth most populous country in the world. The labor market in Pakistan is very diverse and there are different types of jobs  in different sectors of the economy. However, some jobs are more popular than others due to the high demand and economic structure of the country. The most popular jobs in Pakistan can be classified into three main sectors: 


1. Agriculture, manufacturing and services

 Agriculture is the backbone of Pakistan's economy and employs more than 40% of the population. The most common jobs in the agricultural sector are farming, animal husbandry, and fishing. Agriculture is the most popular occupation and most people working in this field practice subsistence farming. However, there are also a significant number of commercial farmers who grow cash crops such as wheat, rice, sugarcane and cotton. 

 


Manufacturing is another important sector of the Pakistani economy, employing about 20% of the population. The most popular jobs in this sector include textile manufacturing, leather processing, and food processing. Pakistan is known for its textile industry, which is the largest employer in the manufacturing sector. The textile industry contributes significantly to the country's export earnings and provides jobs for millions of people. 

 The service sector is the fastest growing sector in Pakistan and employs about 40% of the population. The most popular jobs in this sector include retail, healthcare, education, and banking. The retail sector is the largest employer in the services sector, followed by healthcare and education. Pakistan has a growing middle class, leading to an increase in demand for services such as healthcare, education and banking. 

 

In summary, the most common jobs in Pakistan are agriculture, textile manufacturing and retail. However, the labor market in Pakistan is very diverse and there are many opportunities in different sectors of the economy. With the country's growing population and transition to a service-oriented economy, there will be greater demand for service sector jobs in the coming years.
